Collaborative partnership between NAMA Foundation, Bank Muamalat Malaysia and Rizq Ar Rahman

We don’t believe in denial of education for any children irregardless of their religion, race, culture, and background including for Rohingya refugee children. According to UNHCR statistics, less than 40 % of the school-going aged Rohingya children have no access to education programmes. This does not include the unregistered Rohingya children living in the country. Attitude towards education among the Rohingya is fast changing now. Many are realising the importance of education and worried about their children’s future.

Our dream is to see the children get easy access to school, be in school, wearing schools uniforms, seated in a proper classroom environment equipped with proper books and be able to sit for exams.

With this in mind and realising there needs to be better intergration for the children to have a better education, NAMA Foundation again taking another positive step to be part of this remarkable collaborative partnership between NAMA Foundation, Bank Muamalat Malaysia and Rizq Ar Rahman in ensuring the Rohingya refugee children are not being left out and have an equal opportunity in getting their education. NAMA Foundation welcomes Bank Muamalat Malaysia and #RizqArRahman to be part of our great journey in embarking the future together!
